American Horror Story co-stars Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts have teamed up with Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King for the upcoming Netflix series Calabasas.
According to Deadline, Netflix has officially acquired the rights to the series, which will be produced by Kardashian, Roberts and King. King will also write the screenplay and serve as showrunner.
Based on the book “If You Lived Here, You'd Be Famous” by Via Bleidner, Calabasas "The Protected sixteen-year-old Catholic student is thrust into unfamiliar territory when she transfers to Calabasas High."
Calabasas reunites Kardashian and Roberts, who recently starred together in American Horror Story.
The twelfth season of the hit anthology series follows actress Anna Alcott (Roberts), who is desperately trying to make a good impression. She finds out who she is dealing with to prevent you from getting pregnant. Meanwhile, Kardashian plays Siobhan, Anna's ruthless publicist. Calabasas isn't Kardashian's only Netflix project, as she will also star in the comedy The Fifth Wheel. in which she will play the "fifth wheel" alongside an all-female cast
Elsewhere, it was recently announced that the reality star would play both the star and. executive producer. a new documentary series chronicling the life of Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. The three-part series, titled Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar, will air on BBC Two and iPlayer
She will also return for the fifth series of the reality TV show. her. The Kardashians' May 23 TV show.
