Watchers who cut the cord and watch The Blacklist exclusively on Netflix will soon be able to watch season 9 on Netflix. With lots of other storylines going on in the background, James Spader plays Raymond Reddington, a former criminal turned FBI informant who has helped capture countless notable criminals over the years. It has been carried by Netflix in many regions, since it first aired, reportedly at a price of $2 million per episode. Season 9 will start airing on October 21st for an unconfirmed number of episodes and will see the departure of the show's creator, Jon Bokenkamp. Consequently, the series now averages only a third of what it used to. Whether the show will be renewed for season 10 in early 2022 based on past renewals.
The Blacklist Season 9 Netflix Release Schedule
Depending on where you are, you'll be able to watch season 9 of The Blacklist on Netflix. Almost all Netflix subscribers have access to The Blacklist. The biggest exception is Netflix UK, which has no access to the show because the rights (both broadcast and streaming) were sold to Sky. The Blacklist will be available weekly in certain Netflix regions. Similarly to season 8, season 9 of The Blacklist will be available on Netflix. American and Canadian Netflix subscribers will have to wait until the show's ninth season has concluded. A date can be provided, however. Netflix added season 8 to their US lineup on October 6th, 2021, and the NBC app removed it on October 22nd, 2021. The previous seasons were all available in September on Netflix California & United States. In other words, Netflix will release season 9 of The Blacklist in September 2022. There isn't much else to say right now.
