Plot Summary Bharghav has just suffered unspeakable loss. His parents were robbed of their integrity, their job because of a scam in the bank where they worked. They were abandoned by their relatives, their friends, their colleagues, and even the bank they devoted their good years to. Bhargav destroyed by their death is venting out to his best friend, Siddhant about scams and cons. Under the drunken haze, he decides to build a fake bank and plan a heist to rob people. Even though Siddhant initially is reluctant, he joins the plan bringing in his girlfriend too. Once the plan is set they start recruiting people to stage the heist. From family friends to Professors. Everyone and anyone who might prove to be an obstacle are bribed adequately. Soon they choose a town called Hoshiyargarh. When asked how they can pull off a heist of 10 crores in a small town, the Professor explains that since the town is a sand mine, they are bound to have more money than meets the eye. Impressed by the town's richness they increase their amount from 10 crores to 100 crores so that each member gets 10 crores. Their ultimate retirement plan is to escape to quaint little villages of Europe. Cast Performance The performance of the entire cast is brilliant. Most of the newcomers are decent. Shishir Sharma comes with his shining experience. The show has its moments of brilliance. Overall Remarks Akkad Bakkad is dramatic, emotional, and thrilling. The obvious delight from watching a drama about a heist. But Akkad Bakkad makes you want to root for the scammers, against your better judgment. You almost want them to get away with it so that they can live their lives in Europe. WIth 10 episodes Akkad Bakkad is an adventurous ride you don't want to miss! By SB
