The First Trailer For Matthew Reilly's Action Film Interceptor, Which Stars Elsa Pataky As Captain Jj Collins, Has Released On Netflix.

In Interceptor, Elsa Pataky takes center stage after playing a supporting role in action films in the past. The actress and model stars as JJ Collins, a military captain who faces off against a coordinated attack on an isolated missile interceptor base in the new thriller, which hits Netflix on June 3. She has to use all of her training to take down a team of mercenaries led by Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey) before it's too late for her - and for the world. 
The first trailer for Netflix's upcoming action film, Interceptor, has been released. Elsa Pataky and Luke Bracey (Hacksaw Ridge) star in this film about an army captain suddenly being tasked with protecting a missile interceptor station. Directed by Matthew Reilly and written by Stuart Beattie (Collateral). Known for novels such as Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves and The Tournament, Reilly's first foray into filmmaking is Interceptor. 
In Netflix released a new trailer showcasing Pataky's debut appearance as Captain JJ Collins. Despite her discontent with her new position at the interceptor station, her presence there quickly becomes the only thing that prevents nuclear war. While under siege by unknown terrorists, Collins tries to keep the control center as safe as possible. Collins warns her attackers in one of the film's many intense gunfights: "You planned for everything.". You weren't prepared for me." 
Taking their places alongside Pataky and Bracey in the cast of Interceptor are Aaron Glenane, Mayen Mehta, Rhys Muldoon, Belinda Jombwe, Marcus Johnson, Colin Friels, and Zoe Carides. With Extraction director Sam Hargrave serving as an action consultant on the film, the new movie follows Netflix's other major action titles, such as Triple Frontier and Red Notice. Hargrave's 2020 star Chris Hemsworth will also serve as an executive producer for the new project along with Christopher Mapp, Robert Slaviero, Kathy Morgan, and Peter D Graves. According to reports, Thor actor Pataky helped his wife prepare physically for the role of Collins, which involved more than five hours of training every day and learning approximately 800 stunt moves. It is scheduled for a June 3 release date.
