Series: Little Things, Season 4 Released: 15 October 2021, On Netflix Creator: Dhruv Sehgal Cast: Mithila Palkar, Dhruv Sehgal Kavya and Dhruv meet after 14 months of living apart. Him in Finland and she in Nagpur. They meet in Kerala for a holiday before moving back to Mumbai to live together. While exploring the lush, green tea estates and the backwaters of Alappuzha, they explore a lot more about their relationship too. Talks about the future and the loneliness of the past creep up like tiny obstacles. Flashes from the past, show how Kavya struggled to live with her parents, to Dhruv changing his lifestyle and being busy with work so much that they had to delay meeting each other multiple times. They meet Dhruv's friend who seems far more settled than them with being married and going to be a father also paves way for questions about their future. Dhruv has become more confident and put together after his stint in Finland, while Kavya is at an uncertain juncture in her professional life. Throughout the holiday they fight and make up. From giggling in confession boxes, being stuck in the middle of the lake, to Kavya being content on spending her birthday alone in Kochi while Dhruv has to attend panel discussions, they show the kind of patience and understanding that is truly unique to them. From the cool serenity of Kerala, they return to the mad rush of Mumbai. They set up their house, have battles with nerf guns, and even have a fight over broken crockery, everything seems rosy. But soon the tinted glasses come off. The couple who in previous seasons were worried about food, rent, are now forced to discuss serious health issues and impending surgery. But this farewell season of the internet's favourite show seems like a mad dash to close all the ties and just reach a conclusion for them. What had been unique to Kavya and Dhruv seems to be lost this time. Everything seems too cute, too sweet, too romantic. The solutions to all the problems are reached too soon without any serious contemplation or even valid reasoning. The true stars, apart from Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal are the parents. They are awkward, nervous, and fully endearing. If you are someone who has stuck with Dhruv and Kavya it is only fair that you watch them when they cross such an important milestone of their lives. And if you are someone who just entered their life, then you should still watch it because when the world is anything but perfect now, these two will give you hope and many smiles. By SB
