You will be happy to hear that there is some good news for fans of Netflix's series The Stranger and Safe. Adaptation of the next Harlan Coben novel is in the works. The team behind The Stranger and Safe, Nicola Shindler, Harlan Coben, Danny Brocklehurst and Richard Fee, have brought together an incredible cast for Stay Close. There have been filming on location in and around Manchester, England, and fans can expect a classic English thriller.

Stay Close is a thrilling thriller that crackles with suspense and challenges you to find out how well you truly know someone.
There are three people living comfortable lives, but all of them are hiding secrets that even the closest of their family members never suspect. Among the protagonists are Megan, a working mother of three; a documentary photographer who has fallen into a dead-end job catering to celebrity-obsessed rich children; and Broome, a detective obsessed with a missing person's case. Megan's old friend Lorraine gives her some shocking news which will impact all three characters.
As their past haunts them, threatening to ruin their lives and the lives of the people around them, what will become of them?

Megan, a working mother of three who has a secret past, is played by Cush Jumbo.
- A talented photographer named Ray has had his career fall apart and has now found himself working as a paparazzi. Richard Armitage stars as Ray.
Jack Broome is played by James Nesbitt, a detective haunted by a case he can't let go.
- Lorraine, Megan's old friend, surprises her with a few surprises, played by Sarah Parish.
- A small time lawyer, Harry, is played by Eddie Izzard, a comedian and actor.
- Star Daniel Francis is Megan’s partner Dave.
- Barbie in the movie is also played by Poppy Gilbert, who appears in the perfect relationship.
- Jo Joyner plays a police detective named Erin Cartwright who's easy to read, quick witted, and highly observant
- A former army sergeant, Simona is Andi Osho (Line of Duty)
- Bethany Antonia (Get Even) plays Megan and Dave's oldest daughter Kayleigh
- The best friend of Kayleigh's friend Bea is Rachel Andrews (Butcher Boy)
