Movie: Night Teeth Released: 20 October 2021, On Netflix Director: Adam Randall Cast: Jorge Lendeborg Jr, Debbie Ryan, Megan Fox, Sydney Sweeney, Alexander Ludwig, Lucy Fry, Raul Castillo There is a new vampire coven on Netflix. Night teeth has blood-thirsty vampires, queens, and side-kicks fighting for territorial power and vampire hunters protecting humans. Yes, your typical vampire flick. So Benny is a college student who is substituting as a chauffeur for his brother. His job for the night is to drive two girls to the swankiest parties in LA's clubs. Soon Benny realises that Blaire and Zoe are not what they seem. They are in fact, bloodthirsty vampires who have been around for decades and centuries. Backstory time! So LA has been ground for peaceful co-existence between vampires and humans. The vampires can feed on humans with their consent and not attack in safe zones. And there are groups of humans who protect the other humans from violent vampires consisting of everyone from civilians to police officers. Unbeknownst to Benny, his brother Jay is also a part of the protector group. Now there is trouble stirring in Los Angeles. The vampires are no longer willing to hunt according to the rules. There is a fight brewing between the covens for the ultimate power. Grace and Eva are vampire queens who are backing Victor with the idea of conquering the entire Los Angeles. Yay! Fun! Unfortunately, Night teeth's target audience is teenagers because if it were made for the older audience then Megan Fox would have been the one riding in the car and sucking people's blood. She and Sydney Sweeney are so amazing as queens that it is really sad that they don't have too much screen time. Night teeth does not add anything more to the vampire folklore than we already know. The vampires here are fast and vicious and the sunlight is fatal to them. Lendeborg as Benny is vulnerable and witty when he realises that his life depends on the hands of the two vampires he is driving around. And Debby Ryan and Lucy Fry seem like they are genuinely having fun as two friends/vampires riding around town and wreaking general havoc. Night teeth is funny, dramatic, and a really good one-time watch. If you still lust after vampires then Megan Fox as the vampire queen should definitely be one reason to lure you in to watch this one! By SB
