The first season is set in 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. It focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a boy and supernatural events happening around. This also led to the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities. The second season is about the boy’s side-effects from being in the Upside Down with organisms crawling in the real world. The third season is about the relationship between the boy and the girl against the Upside Down entities.

97% rating has been given by Rotten Tomatoes. It is exciting, heartbreaking and scary. But Stranger Things is not that scary for adults. Netflix considers this series as horror but some fans have argued over this. Some say that the content is inappropriate for younger children.
