TOP NETFLIX KIDS SHOWS 2022

By Rashmi Goel Binge-watching has propelled Netflix to dominance in streaming over the past 15 years. A number of companies have copied viewers' ability to stream TV shows - but few have recognized that viewers have a connection to "comfort food" shows, those with familiar pacings, and those with relatable characters. Many licensed series are leaving Netflix and being reacquired by Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, or HBO Max. If you have kids at home, you might wonder if Netflix still has enough for them. Netflix originals tend to have edgy themes and explicit content. However, Netflix has so many titles that it is easy to overlook even some of the highlights-including those targeted toward families with children. Angry Birds: Summer Madness https://www.netflix.com Netflix has launched the animated children's streaming television series Angry Birds: Summer Madness, developed by Rob Doherty and Scott Sonneborn. Based on the Rovio Entertainment franchise Angry Birds with some loose comparisons to The Angry Birds Movie films. The characters of Camp Splinterwood are Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella, and their counselor is Mighty Eagle. The pigs are also featured, as rival campers. Teenage versions of the characters are featured. Since kindergarten, Stella and Neiderflyer have been feuding and each friend group competes with the other in activities such as water sliding, basketball, paintball, dodgeball, and more. During their journey, Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella run into the Pig side of the camp. Peppa Pig https://www.netflix.com Peppa Pig is set in a world where animals are the only characters. The show centers around the titular character and her family and friends. Episodes last approximately five minutes. Each friend represents a different animal species. George's friends are the same age as Peppa's, and Peppa's younger brother Peppa's friends are the same age. Typically, episodes show the children attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting their grandparents, cousins, and friends, or going to the playground or riding their bikes. Characters dress up, live in houses, and drive cars, but still display some of the animal characteristics that they are based on. When Peppa and her family talk in English, they snort like pigs, and the other animals make their respective noises, with some showing other characteristic sounds, such as the Rabbit family's squeaking sounds. Families of Rabbits and Moles are the exceptions to this rule. They live in burrows under hills, with windows and furniture identical to the other houses. Besides blushing when embarrassed, the characters' mouths also express sadness, happiness, irritation, bewilderment, and confusion. The main characters, most of whom are mammals, are anthropomorphic, but other characters, such as Tyddles the tortoise and Polly the parrot, are not. Shaun The Sheep Adventures From Mossy Bottom https://www.netflix.com Shaun the Sheep is an animated television series created by British filmmakers and a spinoff of Wallace and Gromit. Shropshire sheep Shaun lives with his flock at Mossy Bottom Farm (the farm's name can be seen in nearly all of the opening scenes), a traditional small northern British farm. Shaun's attempts to spice up their otherwise dull lives are the focus of each episode. Their fascination with human technology and culture leads to fantastic sitcom-style escapades. In order to avoid being discovered by the farmer, they usually partner - and sometimes fight - with the farm sheepdog Bitzer. The Octonauts https://www.netflix.com Silvergate Media produces Octonauts, a children's television series based on the children's books written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy. A squad of adventurers made up of stylized anthropomorphic animals explore the underwater world from an underwater base called the Octopod, from where they go on underwater excursions using a fleet of underwater vehicles. Even though its technology is fictional, the exotic creatures and locations that the crew encounter are based on real marine animals in their natural habitats. Jacques Cousteau and Star Trek have been compared to the show's subject matter. Teen Titans Go! https://www.netflix.com The Teen Titans are on the go! The Teen Titans is an American animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero team. New Teen Titans animated shorts were largely responsible for its creation. The show debuted on Cartoon Network, like its predecessor. There is a more comedic aspect to Teen Titans Go! it differs from the original Teen Titans show in terms of animation design; however, it still follows the same comic book storyline. Even the voice actors who played the original Titans reprise their roles in the new movie. It retains the same characters (and new ones too, of course). Teen Titans Go! It's a spin-off, not a reboot. While they're still DC superheroes, what happens when they're not fighting crime? The five roommates love to have fun and have a good time, but they also have to deal with what it's like to be five teen roommates, like chores, romantic tension, and impromptu meatball parties. Pandemonium erupts in the Tower as the Teen Titans take advantage of their super-powers. Lego Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitzu https://www.netflix.com Ninjago is largely set in the fictional world of Ninjago, a world heavily influenced by East Asian mythology. Six teenagers are fighting against forces of evil, also known as 'Elemental Masters', several characters who possess elemental powers. A fictional martial art called "Spinjitzu," which is the main fighting method depicted in the show, was formed and taught to the ninja team by their ancient master, Sensei Wu, in the first episode. Ninjas live aboard Destiny's Bounty, a flying junk ship whose design has varied over the course of the series. The show's pilot introduces four ninjas, Kai, Cole, Jay and Zane, and Kai's sister Nya, while the central character Lloyd Garmadon is introduced in the first season, titled Rise of the Snakes. With the use of character dialogues and flashbacks, the series incorporates a detailed fictional lore into the storyline. In order to stop the lemmings from making more mischief, Grizzy uses various pieces of high-tech equipment he has in the cabin and magical objects that he has scavenged around the cabin.
