This bleak second week of September, we are here to brighten it for you! Set your calendars according to what’s releasing on Netflix this week. 6th September, Monday 1. Good boys: a coming- of- age movie (well technically is it “coming-of-age” if they are just 11?), where two friends help the third to kiss his crush at a party, and well, obviously hilarity ensues. Watch this one to chase away your Monday blues because this movie opened to really good reviews. 2. Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space Watch history in the making as 4 civilians are trained, launched in rockets to orbit the Earth and come back down after a 3-days trip to space. Yes. You read that right. A 3-days trip to space. Talk about going to the moon and coming back in 3 days. 7th September, Tuesday 1. On the verge: Season 1 of this brand new series is dropping on Tuesday! 4 women navigate through life looking after family, children, jobs, friendships, all the while going through a mid-life crisis. Keep your tissue boxes close to get through this comedy-drama. 8th September, Wednesday 1. JJ+E: A Swedish love story about two teens who are different in every way possible, fight against all odds to find love. 2. Into the night: Season 2 of this Belgian sci-fi thriller is coming to us mid-week. Maybe this fast-paced thriller about plane hijacks, passengers fighting not just terrorists but also apocalypse might get us closer to the weekend (if the concept of the weekend even exists that is) 9th September, Thursday 1. Blood brothers: Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali A heavyweight champion. A civil rights activist. Friends. Shifting ideologies. A tragic fall-out. Need i say more? 10th September, Friday 1. Lucifer: the weekend is lit with Devil himself coming to Netflix. Now, this guy has some adulting to do with claiming his throne as God, battling wanna be devils and a long list of duties that God only knows. Pun intended. 2. Kate: An action thriller where a ruthless criminal is poisoned. Learning she only has few hours to live, she goes on a revenge drive to find the ones who, you know, basically tried to off her. 11th September, Saturday 1. Tughlaq Durbar: End the weekend on a high note with this Vijay Sethupathi movie which is a political comedy-drama because sadly everyone has to go to work on Monday!
