Nick and Vanessa Lachey informed viewers during the season 7 reunion that Love Is Blind had been renewed, so Netflix wasted no time in announcing the upcoming season 8. And we do have some details, for once.
It's more obvious than ever that Love is Blind is the ultimate guilty-pleasure reality TV series now that season 7 has concluded and its reunion was released on October 30. Millions of people watch Love is Blind every season, so it's not going anywhere despite off-screen arguments between couples and legal issues. We're recording everything we find out about Love is Blind season 8 below.

Who makes up the cast of 'Love is Blind' season 8?
A few of the people hoping to get married in season 8 have already been introduced by Netflix in a fresh, unexpected move. Three cast members from the upcoming Minneapolis episode—two men, Alex and Joey, and a woman named Brittany—made an appearance at the LIB season 7 reunion.
The happy trio didn't reveal too much, but Alex talked candidly about the Twin Cities dating scene and why he hasn't been able to find love. "I personally just prioritized other things in my life—in work and friends and travel," he said.
"It's such a small community," the season 8 participant continued. There is a small bar scene and you kind of see the same people over and over again because it's not like a big city but also not a small town. I simply never connected with the right person.
We'll keep an eye out for any updates in the weeks leading up to the Valentine's Day premiere, but Joey and Brittany didn't comment, and it's still unclear who else will be in the pods.
What is the premiere date?
Netflix and the Lacheys have announced that the next Love Is Blind experiment will be released in 2025 on Valentine's Day, of course. This is a particularly fitting premiere date because it also marks the series' fifth anniversary.

What Other Things Could Go Wrong in Season 8 of LIB?
Other problems might occur in addition to the Love Is Blind season 8 cast meeting a pod dating pool of people they know. Due to Love Is Blind's infamous lack of screening, cast members with dubious backgrounds, negative personalities, or covert partners may also show up. Additionally, the show must be set up so that all engaged couples—whether there are five or more—can participate in the entire event. If not, there will be a deficit for the season. Since the producers are in charge of the show, they will be held accountable if any of these problems arise.
